Dr. K.N. Ganeshaiah is an agricultural scientist and professor at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. He received his PhD. from the same in 1983.

An ace researcher, Dr. Ganeshaiah has published over 150 scientific papers and has authored 4 books.

Apart from his scientific work Dr. Ganeshaiah is recognized as a pioneer in contemporary Kannada literature. He has authored many thrillers.
