Kartick Satyanarayan

Kartick Satyanarayan is the co-founder and director of Wildlife SOS, a non profit nature & wildlife conservation organization dedicated to protecting and conserving India’s wildlife.

Kartick majored in commerce and business management but he spent most of his time as a field assistant tracking tigers for the Wildlife Conservation Society. He also worked on a tiger project with the New York Zoological Society.

Kartick Satyanarayan is also a TED fellow and is famously known as the bear man for his dedicated efforts to save sloth bears from the cruel, centuries-old tradition of being enslaved and trained as Dancing Bears.
