Nitin Gokhale is Defence and Strategic Affairs Editor at NDTV Convergence Limited.

A seasoned journalist Nitin has been reporting about war zones and has covered Kargil, the Maoist insurgence and many other war-torn areas in the Indian subcontinent.

What is so interesting about his writings and the reason for him being one of the most widely read and respected defence journalists is his ability to mix down his first hand accounts about war and violence into something one can relate to and easily understand.
